Rick Stewart

Rick was injured in a motor vehicle accident in September 1993 that left him with C4 Quadriplegia. He went through the acute stage of his injury at Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney followed by 6 months of rehabilitation at Moorong Spinal Unit at Ryde, NSW.  After rehabilitation, he undertook TAFE studies in Information Technology before seeking employment. 
 
Rick lives in Ryde with his wife and two children. He works part time as a peer support officer with Spinal Cord Injuries Australia and has been with the organisation for eight years, and has also served on the Board of Directors.
