David Andrews

David is the Implementation Coordinator of the State Spinal Cord Injury Service and works with all the various stakeholders and services to achieve the goals of the service. He has over 18 years experience as a nurse, mainly in critical care and emergency nursing. Over the past 5-6 years he has worked as a health manager and nurse manager in Sydney.
 
“In the last 18 months working in the area of spinal cord injuries I have been enormously impressed with the true multidisciplinary nature of the clinical team, something that other services can only dream about and the level of innovation and enthusiasm shown,” says David.
 
“I think the next few years will prove to be an exciting time as new services mature, research outcomes are realised and sustainable models of care are delivered.”
