Daria has had vast experience managing the health needs of people with a SCI. Daria has worked as a spinal occupational therapist in rehabilitation at the Moorong Spinal Unit, at the Australian Quadriplegic Association, (now named Spinal Cord Injuries Australia) and at ParaQuad for  the past two  years.  As an OT Daria assists clients to maximize their independence by ensuring that they are using the most appropriate equipment and techniques. Daria also gives advice to clients and community health about the types of modifications people need to their homes following a SCI.
